A First Time For Everything

I became an eligible voter in 1992, but have never exercised that right, today that will change. My vote won’t swing the election to finally put an NDP government in power, but if enough people say this and don’t vote, it will never happen. Few young people vote, but if we don’t start soon, the age of voters will only continue to get older and politicians will have no reason to build platforms that recognize the issue that concern us. If more young people voted, I wouldn’t be worried that the Alliance Conservatives might become our next elected government. Continue reading
